About Braishfield Parish
Braishfield is a village and a civic parish, located in Test Valley Borough of Hampshire, some 3 miles north east of the town of Romsey. See the Braishfield Wikipedia page for further information.

Council Business
There are seven seats on the Parish Council. The Council is qualified to operate the General Power of Competence under the Localism Act 2011.
The Council is a corporate body (a legal entity separate from its Members) which means that any action or decision is made by the Council as a whole.

The Village Hall is situated at the end of the Recreation Ground and comprises a main hall ( large enough to play Badminton ) and stage, a large community room, well appointed kitchen and bar, cloakroom, toilet facilities including a toilet for disabled persons and shower.
