Braishfield
Parish Council
There are seven seats on the Parish Council and they are open to election every four years, with the next election scheduled for May 2015. If there are fewer than eight nominations then no election is called. Any vacant seats must be filled by co-option or election onto the Council. If a seat becomes vacant, for example by resignation, parishioners are given the opportunity to call for an election, but if this right is not exercised the vacancy must be filled by co-option.
